Super Eagles coach explains his plans to invite only 1st division players

Super Eagles coach, Sunday Oliseh has explained his decision behind his plans to invite only players who ply their trade in first devision.

After he was unveiled as Super Eagles coach, Oliseh revealed his plans to invite only foreign players who play in the top division.
In a video posted on his personal website, Oliseh explain that he will be selecting o first division players because of the top standard of football football which they are are accustomed.
"We feel the best has to play for us and the best play in the best divisions," Oliseh said in the video.
"Of course they might be exceptions the basis of our decision is that the best players in the top division are used to a different tempo and competition standard and for that reason we need the best who are used to this tempo to serve and play for Nigeria," Oliseh said.
"This involve outfield players who are involved with the tempo of the game and not the goalkeeper," the former Ajax and Juventus midfielder said. 
"Senior players who have served Nigeria and won titles for us and are tied up in a second decision team will also be selected," he added.
Oliseh in the video, said he be updating fans of the Super Eagles through the channel .
He started off by thanking everyone for the well wishes as regards his appointment before speaking on his plans for the national team.
"We are the moment assembling a team, starting from the scratch and getting the players that suit the style we want to play.
"We will be doing it in two have two phases, the home base phase and the foreign base phase.
 "As at the moment we visited some players at their clubs, watched them play and made contacts with several players that we want."
